Arizona hunting zone maps show the numbered Game Management Units, or GMUs, used by the Arizona Game & Fish Department. Hunters commonly call these areas hunt units or hunting units, while “hunting zones” is another widely used search term for the same general areas. These maps can also be valuable for hiking, backpacking, fishing, camping, off-road travel, sightseeing, and other outdoor activities where understanding roads, water, terrain, and access matters.
